The New Product Rescue Bot developed by the Unmanned Underwater Vehicle Lab (UUV Lab) students was demonstrated at Marina Beach Chennai in front of Smt. Priya Ravichandran, Joint Director of the Tamilnadu Fire and Rescue department, Chennai and officials from the Fire and Rescue department. The Rescue Bot helps rescue operation to save lives drowning in water bodies. The rescue bot tested with the help of the rescue team from Tamilnadu Fire and Rescue department. The student Yuvanshankar KA III Mech, Mohammed Irshath engineer Trainee along with D Selvamuthukumaran UUV lab Incharge demonstrated the project. The Joint director along with officials appreciated the student’s project and gave necessary feedback to improve the project.
